Every offer we make is prepared by our team from the details and photos you send through Get a Quote. No two devices are quite the same, so here is what we look at and why it matters.

The exact model and specification

The model, its generation and its specification set the starting point. The more precisely you name your device, the more accurate your offer will be.

Storage capacity

Within the same model, a larger storage capacity usually changes the offer, so tell us exactly how much storage your device has.

Cosmetic condition

Scratches, dents and cracks on the screen or the body all count. Photos help our team see the condition before your device arrives.

Whether everything works

Tell us about anything that does not work as it should, such as the screen, buttons, cameras, speakers or charging. Battery health affects the offer too, so tell us what you know about it.

Activation Lock

A device that is still locked to someone's account cannot be bought until the lock is removed. Sign out and turn off Find My before you send it.

Current demand

Offers also reflect current demand for that device.

If inspection finds a difference

When your device arrives, we check it against what you told us. If something differs, we send you a revised offer with the reason. You decide whether to accept it, and if you decline, we return your device at no shipping cost to you.
